  2 I will be glad° and aexult° in You;
  I will bsing° praise° to Your name°, O cMost° High°.

  They stumble° and aperish° before°° You.

  5 You have arebuked° the nations°, You have destroyed° the wicked°;
  You have bblotted° out their name° forever° and ever°.
  6 IThe enemy° has come° to an end° in perpetual° ruins°,
  And You have uprooted° the cities°;
  The very° amemory° of them has perished°.

David praiseth God for executing of judgment.

1 ¶ [[To the chief Musicianº ª upon² Muthlabben,º ¹ A Psalmº of David.]]º I will praiseº ª [thee], O LORD,º with my whole² heart;º I will shew forthº ª all² thy marvellous works.º ª 2 I will be gladº ª and rejoiceº ª in thee: I will sing praiseº ª to thy name,º O thou most High.º 3 When mine enemiesº ª are turnedº ª back,º they shall fallº ª and perishº ª at thy presence.º ² 4 For² thou hast maintainedº ª my rightº and my cause;º thou satestº ª in the throneº judgingº ª right.º 5 Thou hast rebukedº ª the heathen,º thou hast destroyedº ª the wicked,º thou hast put outº ª their nameº for everº and ever.º 6 O thou enemy,º ª destructionsº are come to a perpetual¹ end:º ª ² and thou hast destroyedº ª cities;º ¹ ª their memorialº is perishedº ª with them.º 7 But the LORDº shall endureº ª for ever:º he hath preparedº ª his throneº for judgment.º 8 And he² shall judgeº ª the worldº in righteousness,º he shall minister judgmentº ª to the peopleº in uprightness.º 9 The LORDº also will be² a refugeº for the oppressed,º a refugeº in timesº of trouble.º 10 And they that knowº ª thy nameº will put their trustº ª in thee: for² thou, LORD,º hast not² forsakenº ª them that seekº ª thee.
