A prayer against them that oppress the Church.

9 Doºª unto them as [unto] the Midianites;º as [to] Sisera,º as [to] Jabin,º at the brookº of Kison:º 10 [Which] perishedºª at Endor:º they became² [as] dungº for the earth.º 11 Makeºª their noblesº like Oreb,º and like Zeeb:º yea, all² their princesº as Zebah,º and as Zalmunna:º 12 Who² said,ºª Let us take² to ourselves² the housesº of Godº in possession.¹ª 13 O my God,º makeºª them like a wheel;º as the stubbleº beforeº the wind.º 14 As the fireº burnethºª a wood,º and as the flameº setteth¹ª the mountains¹ on fire;ºª² 15 So² persecuteºª them with thy tempest,º and make them afraidºª with thy storm.º 16 Fillºª their facesº with shame;º that they may seekºª thy name,º O LORD.º 17 Let them be confoundedºª and troubledºª for ever;º² yea, let them be put to shame,ºª and perish:ºª 18 That [men] may knowºª that² thou,² whose nameº alone² [is] JEHOVAH,º [art] the most highº over² all² the earth.º
