Job reproveth his friends of partiality.

1 ¶ Lo,² mine eyeº hath seenºª all² [this], mine earº hath heardºª and understoodºª it. 2 What ye know,º [the same] do I² knowºª also:² I² [am] not² inferiorºª unto² you. 3 Surelyº I² would speakºª to² the Almighty,º and I desireºª to reasonºª with² God.º 4 Butº ye² [are] forgersºª of lies,º ye [are] all² physiciansºª of no value.º 5 O that¹ª² ye would² altogether¹ª hold your peace!ºª and it should be² your wisdom.º 6 Hearºª now² my reasoning,º and hearkenºª to the pleadingsº of my lips.º 7 Will ye speakºª wickedlyº for God?º and talkºª deceitfullyº for him? 8 Will ye acceptºª his person?º will ye contendºª for God?º 9 Is it good¹ª² that² he should search you out?ºª² or² as one manº mockethºª another, do ye [so] mockºª him? 10 He will surely¹ª reproveºª you, if² ye do secretlyº acceptºª persons.º 11 Shall not² his excellencyº make you afraid?ºª and his dreadº fallºª upon² you? 12 Your remembrancesº [are] likeº unto ashes,º your bodiesº to bodiesº of clay.º 13 Hold your peace,ºª let me alone,² that I² may speak,ºª and let comeºª on² me what² [will].
