The Golden Lampstand and Olive Trees1 Then athe angel° who was speaking° with me returned° and broused° me, as a man° who° is awakened° from his sleep°. 2 He said° to me, “aWhat° do you see°?” And I said°, “I see°, and behold°, a blampstand° all° of gold° with its bowl° on the top° of it, and its cseven° lamps° on it with seven° spouts° belonging to each of the lamps° which° are on the top° of it; 3 also atwo° olive° trees° by it, one° on the right° side° of the bowl° and the other° on its left° side°.” 4 Then I said° to the angel° who was speaking° with me saying°, “What° are these°, amy lord°?” 5 So athe angel° who was speaking° with me answered° and said° to me, “bDo you not know° what° these° are?” And I said°, “No°, my lord°.” 6 Then he Isaid° to me, “This° is the word° of the LORD° to aZerubbabel° saying°, ‘bNot by might° nor° by power°, but by My cSpirit°,’ says° the LORD° of hosts°. 7 ‘What° are you, O great° amountain°? By the golden candlestick is foreshewed the good success of Zerubbabel's foundation.1 ¶ And the angelº that talkedºª with me came again,ºª and wakedºª me, as a manº that² is wakenedºª out of his sleep,º² 2 And saidºª unto² me, What² seestºª thou?² And I said,ºª I have looked,ºª and behold² a candlestickº all² [of] gold,º with a bowl¹² upon² the topº of it, and his sevenº lampsº thereon,² and sevenº pipesº to the sevenº lamps,º which² [are] upon² the topº thereof: 3 And twoº olive treesº by² it, oneº upon the rightº² [side] of the bowl,º and the otherº upon² the leftº [side] thereof. 4 So I answeredºª and spakeºª to² the angelº that talkedºª with me, saying,ºª What² [are] these,² my lord?º 5 Then the angelº that talkedºª with me answeredºª and saidºª unto² me, Knowestºª thou not² what² these² be?
