A Psalm of David.

  1 aThe LORD° says° to my Lord°:
  “bSit° at My right° hand°
  Until° I make° cYour enemies° a footstool°° for Your feet°.”
  2 The LORD° will stretch° forth° Your strong° ascepter° from Zion°, [saying],
  “bRule° in the midst° of Your enemies°.”
  3 Your apeople° Iwill volunteer° freely° in the day° of Your IIpower°;
  bIn IIIholy° array°, from the womb° of the dawn°,
  IVYour youth° are to You [as] the cdew°.

  “You are a cpriest° forever°
  According° to the order° of Melchizedek°.”

  He Iwill bshatter° kings° in the cday° of His wrath°.
  6 He will ajudge° among the nations°,
  He Iwill fill° [them] with bcorpses°,
  He IIwill cshatter° the IIIchief° men° over° a broad° country°.
  7 He will adrink° from the brook° by the wayside°;
  Therefore°° He will blift° up [His] head°.
