The altar of brass.

1 ¶ Moreover he madeºª an altarº of brass,º twentyº cubitsº the lengthº thereof, and twentyº cubitsº the breadthº thereof, and tenº cubitsº the heightº thereof.

The molten sea upon twelve oxen.

2 ¶ Also he madeºª² a moltenºª seaº of tenº cubitsº from brimº² to² brim,º roundº in compass,º and fiveº cubitsº the heightº thereof; and a lineº of thirtyº cubitsº did compassºª it round about.º 3 And under² it [was] the similitudeº of oxen,º which did compassºª it round about:º tenº in a cubit,º compassingºª² the seaº round about.º Twoº rowsº of oxenº [were] cast,ºª when it was cast.º 4 It stoodºª upon² twelveºº oxen,º threeº lookingºª toward the north,º and threeº lookingºª toward the west,º and threeº lookingºª toward the south,º and threeº lookingºª toward the east:º and the seaº [was set] aboveº² upon² them, and all² their hinder partsº [were] inward.º 5 And the thicknessº of it [was] an handbreadth,º and the brimº of it like the workº of the brimº of a cup,º with flowersº of lilies;º [and] it receivedºª and heldºª threeº thousandº baths.º

The ten lavers, candlesticks, and tables.

6 ¶ He madeºª also tenº lavers,º and putºª fiveº on the right hand,º² and fiveº on the left,º² to washºª in them:² such things as they offeredº for the burnt offeringº they washedºª in them; but the seaº [was] for the priestsº to wash² in.¹ª 7 And he madeºª² tenº candlesticksº of goldº according to their form,º and setºª [them] in the temple,º fiveº on the right hand,º² and fiveº on the left.º² 8 He madeºª also tenº tables,º and placed¹ª² [them] in the temple,º fiveº on the right side,º² and fiveº on the left.º² And he madeºª an hundredº basonsº of gold.º

The courts, and the instruments of brass.

9 ¶ Furthermore he madeºª the courtº of the priests,º and the greatº court,º and doorsº for the court,º and overlaidºª the doorsº of them with brass.º 10 And he setºª the seaº on the rightº sideº² of the east end,º over againstº² the south.º 11 And Huramº madeºª² the pots,º and the shovels,º and the basons.º And Huramºª¹ finished¹ª¹ª the workº²²² that² he was to makeºª for kingº Solomonº for the houseº of God;º 12 [To wit], the twoº pillars,º and the pommels,º and the chapitersº [which were] on² the topº of the two² pillars,º and the twoº wreathsº to coverºª² the twoº pommelsº of the chapitersº which² [were] on² the topº of the pillars;º 13 And fourº hundredº pomegranatesº on the twoº wreaths;º twoº rowsº of pomegranatesº on eachº wreath,º to coverºª² the twoº pommelsº of the chapitersº which² [were] uponº² the pillars.º 14 He madeºª also bases,º and laversº madeºª he upon² the bases;º 15 ² Oneº sea,º and twelveºº oxenº under² it. 16 The potsº also, and the shovels,º and the fleshhooks,º and all² their instruments,º did Huramº his fatherº makeºª to kingº Solomonº for the houseº of the LORDº of brightºª brass.º 17 In the plainº of Jordanº did the kingº castºª them, in the clay¹² groundº between² Succothº and Zeredathah.º 18 Thus Solomonº madeºª all² these² vesselsº in greatº abundance:º for² the weightº of the brassº could not² be found out.ºª

The instruments of gold.

19 ¶ And Solomonº madeºª² all² the vesselsº that² [were for] the houseº of God,º the goldenº altarº also, and the tablesº whereon² the shewbreadºº [was set]; 20 Moreover the candlesticksº with their lamps,º that they should burnºª after the mannerº beforeº the oracle,º of pureºª gold;º 21 And the flowers,º and the lamps,º and the tongs,º [made he of] gold,º [and] that² perfectº gold;º 22 And the snuffers,º and the basons,º and the spoons,º and the censers,º [of] pureºª gold:º and the entryº of the house,º the innerº doorsº thereof for the most¹ holyº [place], and the doorsº of the houseº of the temple,º [were of] gold.º
