God's mercy in restoring the two tables,

1 ¶ At that² timeº the LORDº saidºª unto² me, Hewºª thee twoº tablesº of stoneº like unto the first,º and come upºª unto² me into the mount,º and makeºª thee an arkº of wood.º 2 And I will writeºª on² the tablesº² the wordsº that² were² in² the firstº tablesº which² thou brakest,ºª and thou shalt putºª them in the ark.º 3 And I madeºª an arkº [of] shittimº wood,º and hewedºª twoº tablesº of stoneº like unto the first,º and went upºª into the mount,º having the twoº tablesº in mine hand.º 4 And he wroteºª on² the tables,º according to the firstº writing,º² the tenº commandments,º which² the LORDº spakeºª unto² you in the mountº out of the midstº² of the fireº in the dayº of the assembly:º and the LORDº gaveºª them unto² me. 5 And I turned¹ª myself² and came downºª from² the mount,º and putºª² the tablesº in the arkº which² I had made;ºª and there² they be,² as² the LORDº commandedºª me.
