The law of the Nazarites.

1 ¶ And the LORDº spakeºª unto² Moses,º saying,ºª 2 Speakºª unto² the childrenº of Israel,º and sayºª unto² them, When² either manº or² womanº shall separateºª [themselves] to vowºª a vowº of a Nazarite,º to separateºª [themselves] unto the LORD:º 3 He shall separateºª [himself] from wineº² and strong drink,º and shall drinkºª no² vinegarº of wine,º or vinegarº of strong drink,º neither² shall he drinkºª any² liquorº of grapes,º nor² eatºª moistº grapes,º or dried.º 4 All² the daysº of his separationº shall he eatºª nothing²²² that² is madeºª of the vineº tree,º² from the kernelsº² even to² the husk.º 5 All² the daysº of the vowº of his separationº there shall no² razorº comeºª upon² his head:º until² the daysº be fulfilled,ºª in the which² he separatethºª [himself] unto the LORD,º he shall be² holy,º [and] shall let the locksº of the hairº of his headº grow.ºª 6 All² the daysº that he separatethºª [himself] unto the LORDº he shall comeºª at² no² deadºª body.º 7 He shall not² make himself uncleanºª for his father,º or for his mother,º for his brother,º or for his sister,º when they die:¹² because² the consecrationº of his Godº [is] upon² his head.º 8 All² the daysº of his separationº he² [is] holyº unto the LORD.º 9 And if² any manºª dieºª veryº suddenlyº by² him, and he hath defiledºª the headº of his consecration;º then he shall shaveºª his headº in the dayº of his cleansing,º on the seventhº dayº shall he shaveºª it. 10 And on the eighthº dayº he shall bringºª twoº turtles,º or² twoº youngº pigeons,º to² the priest,º to² the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation:º 11 And the priestº shall offerºª the oneº for a sin offering,º and the otherº for a burnt offering,º and make an atonementºª for² him, for thatº² he sinnedºª by² the dead,º and shall hallowºª² his headº that same² day.º 12 And he shall consecrateºª unto the LORDº² the daysº of his separation,º and shall bringºª a lambº of the firstº yearº for a trespass offering:º but the daysº that were beforeº shall be lost,ºª because² his separationº was defiled.ºª

13 ¶ And this² [is] the lawº of the Nazarite,º whenº the daysº of his separationº are fulfilled:ºª he shall be broughtºª unto² the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation:º 14 And he shall offerºª² his offeringº unto the LORD,º oneº he lambº of the firstº yearº without blemishº for a burnt offering,º and oneº ewe lambº of the firstº yearº without blemishº for a sin offering,º and oneº ramº without blemishº for peace offerings,º 15 And a basketº of unleavened bread,º cakesº of fine flourº mingledºª with oil,º and wafersº of unleavened breadº anointedºª with oil,º and their meat offering,º and their drink offerings.º 16 And the priestº shall bringºª [them] beforeº the LORD,º and shall offerºª² his sin offering,º and his burnt offering:º 17 And he shall offerºª the ramº [for] a sacrificeº of peace offeringsº unto the LORD,º with² the basketº of unleavened bread:º the priestº shall offerºª also² his meat offering,º and his drink offering.º 18 And the Nazariteº shall shaveºª² the headº of his separationº [at] the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation,º and shall takeºª² the hairº of the headº of his separation,º and putºª [it] in² the fireº which² [is] under² the sacrificeº of the peace offerings.º 19 And the priestº shall takeºª² the soddenº shoulderº of² the ram,º and oneº unleavenedº cakeº out of² the basket,º and oneº unleavenedº wafer,º and shall putºª [them] upon² the handsº of the Nazarite,º afterº² [the hair of] his separationº is shaven:ºª 20 And the priestº shall waveºª them [for] a wave offeringº beforeº the LORD:º this² [is] holyº for the priest,º with² the waveº breastº and heaveº shoulder:º and after¹ that² the Nazariteº may drinkºª wine.º 21 This² [is] the lawº of the Nazariteº who² hath vowed,ºª [and of] his offeringº unto the LORDº for² his separation,º beside²² [that] that² his handº shall get:ºª according¹ to² the vowº which² he vowed,ºª so² he must doºª after² the lawº of his separation.º

The form of blessing the people.

22 ¶ And the LORDº spakeºª unto² Moses,º saying,ºª 23 Speakºª unto² Aaronº and unto² his sons,º saying,ºª On this wiseº ye shall blessºª² the childrenº of Israel,º sayingºª unto them, 24 The LORDº blessºª thee, and keepºª thee: 25 The LORDº make his faceº shineºª upon² thee, and be graciousºª unto thee: 26 The LORDº lift upºª his countenanceº upon² thee, and giveºª thee peace.º 27 And they shall putºª² my nameº upon² the childrenº of Israel;º and I² will blessºª them.
