The lot of Simeon,

1 ¶ And the secondº lotº came forthºª to Simeon,º [even] for the tribeº of the childrenº of Simeonº according to their families:º and their inheritanceº was² withinº the inheritanceº of the childrenº of Judah.º 2 And they had² in their inheritanceº Beersheba,º or Sheba,º and Moladah,º 3 And Hazarshual,º and Balah,º and Azem,º 4 And Eltolad,º and Bethul,º and Hormah,º 5 And Ziklag,º and Bethmarcaboth,º and Hazarsusah,º 6 And Bethlebaoth,º and Sharuhen;º thirteenºº citiesº and their villages:º 7 Ain,º Remmon,º and Ether,º and Ashan;º fourº citiesº and their villages:º 8 And all² the villagesº that² [were] round aboutº these² citiesº to² Baalathbeer,º Ramath¹² of the south.º This² [is] the inheritanceº of the tribeº of the childrenº of Simeonº according to their families.º 9 Out of the portionº² of the childrenº of Judahº [was] the inheritanceº of the childrenº of Simeon:º for² the partº of the childrenº of Judahº was² too muchº for them:² therefore the childrenº of Simeonº had their inheritanceºª withinº the inheritanceº of them.

of Zebulun,

10 ¶ And the thirdº lotº came upºª for the childrenº of Zebulunº according to their families:º and the borderº of their inheritanceº was² unto² Sarid:º 11 And their borderº went upºª toward the sea,º and Maralah,º and reachedºª to Dabbasheth,º and reachedºª to² the riverº that² [is] beforeº² Jokneam;º 12 And turnedºª from Saridº² eastwardº toward the sunrisingºº unto² the borderº of Chislothtabor,º and then goeth outºª to² Daberath,º and goeth upºª to Japhia,º 13 And from thence²² passeth on alongºª on the eastº¹ to Gittahhepher,º to Ittahkazin,º and goeth outºª to Remmonmethoarº to Neah;º 14 And the borderº compassethºª it on the north sideº² to Hannathon:º and the outgoingsº thereof are² in the valleyº of Jiphthahel:º 15 And Kattath,º and Nahallal,º and Shimron,º and Idalah,º and Bethlehem:º twelveºº citiesº with their villages.º 16 This² [is] the inheritanceº of the childrenº of Zebulunº according to their families,º these² citiesº with their villages.º

of Issachar,

17 ¶ [And] the fourthº lotº came outºª to Issachar,º for the childrenº of Issacharº according to their families.º 18 And their borderº was² toward Jezreel,º and Chesulloth,º and Shunem,º 19 And Hapharaim,º and Shion,º and Anaharath,º 20 And Rabbith,º and Kishion,º and Abez,º 21 And Remeth,º and Engannim,º and Enhaddah,º and Bethpazzez;º 22 And the coastº reachethºª to Tabor,º and Shahazimah,º and Bethshemesh;º and the outgoingsº of their borderº were² at Jordan:º sixteenºº citiesº with their villages.º 23 This² [is] the inheritanceº of the tribeº of the childrenº of Issacharº according to their families,º the citiesº and their villages.º

of Asher,

24 ¶ And the fifthº lotº came outºª for the tribeº of the childrenº of Asherº according to their families.º 25 And their borderº was² Helkath,º and Hali,º and Beten,º and Achshaph,º 26 And Alammelech,º and Amad,º and Misheal;º and reachethºª to Carmelº westward,º and to Shihorlibnath;º 27 And turnethºª toward the sunrisingºº to Bethdagon,º and reachethºª to Zebulun,º and to the valleyº of Jiphthahelº toward the north sideº of Bethemek,º and Neiel,º and goeth outºª to² Cabulº on the left hand,º 28 And Hebron,º and Rehob,º and Hammon,º and Kanah,º [even] unto² greatº Zidon;º 29 And [then] the coastº turnethºª to Ramah,º and to² the strongº cityº Tyre;º and the coastº turnethºª to Hosah;º and the outgoingsº thereof are² at the seaº from the coastº² to Achzib:º 30 Ummahº also, and Aphek,º and Rehob:º twentyº and twoº citiesº with their villages.º 31 This² [is] the inheritanceº of the tribeº of the childrenº of Asherº according to their families,º these² citiesº with their villages.º

of Naphtali,

32 ¶ The sixthº lotº came outºª to the childrenº of Naphtali,º [even] for the childrenº of Naphtaliº according to their families.º 33 And their coastº was² from Heleph,º² from Allon¹²² to Zaanannim,º and Adami,º Nekeb,º and Jabneel,º unto² Lakum;º and the outgoingsº thereof were² at Jordan:º 34 And [then] the coastº turnethºª westwardº to Aznothtabor,º and goeth outºª from thence²² to Hukkok,º and reachethºª to Zebulunº on the south side,º and reachethºª to Asherº on the west side,º² and to Judahº upon Jordanº toward the sunrising.ºº 35 And the fencedº citiesº [are] Ziddim,º Zer,º and Hammath,º Rakkath,º and Chinnereth,º 36 And Adamah,º and Ramah,º and Hazor,º 37 And Kedesh,º and Edrei,º and Enhazor,º 38 And Iron,º and Migdalel,º Horem,º and Bethanath,º and Bethshemesh;º nineteenºº citiesº with their villages.º 39 This² [is] the inheritanceº of the tribeº of the childrenº of Naphtaliº according to their families,º the citiesº and their villages.º

of Dan.

40 ¶ [And] the seventhº lotº came outºª for the tribeº of the childrenº of Danº according to their families.º 41 And the coastº of their inheritanceº was² Zorah,º and Eshtaol,º and Irshemesh,º 42 And Shaalabbin,º and Ajalon,º and Jethlah,º 43 And Elon,º and Thimnathah,º and Ekron,º 44 And Eltekeh,º and Gibbethon,º and Baalath,º 45 And Jehud,º and Beneberak,º and Gathrimmon,º 46 And Mejarkon,º and Rakkon,º with² the borderº beforeº Japho.º 47 And the coastº of the childrenº of Danº went outºª [too little] for them:² therefore the childrenº of Danº went upºª to fightºª against² Leshem,º and tookºª it, and smoteºª it with the edgeº of the sword,º and possessedºª it, and dweltºª therein, and calledºª Leshem,º Dan,º after the nameº of Danº their father.º 48 This² [is] the inheritanceº of the tribeº of the childrenº of Danº according to their families,º these² citiesº with their villages.º

The children of Israel give an inheritance to Joshua.

49 ¶ When they had made an endºª of dividing the land¹ for inheritanceºª²² by their coasts,º the childrenº of Israelº gaveºª an inheritanceº to Joshuaº the sonº of Nunº amongº them: 50 According² to the wordº of the LORDº they gaveºª him² the cityº which² he asked,ºª [even]² Timnathserahº in mountº Ephraim:º and he builtºª² the city,º and dweltºª therein. 51 These² [are] the inheritances,º which² Eleazarº the priest,º and Joshuaº the sonº of Nun,º and the headsº of the fathersº of the tribesº of the childrenº of Israel,º divided for an inheritanceºª by lotº in Shilohº beforeº the LORD,º at the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation.º So they made an endºª of dividingºª²² the country.º
