  1 Hear° my prayer°, O LORD°,
  aGive° ear° to my supplications°!
  Answer° me in Your bfaithfulness°, in Your crighteousness°!
  2 And ado not enter° into judgment° with Your servant°,
  For in Your sight° bno° man° living° is righteous°.
  3 For the enemy° has persecuted° my soul°;
  He has crushed° my life° ato the ground°;
  He bhas made me dwell° in dark° places°, like those who have long° been dead°.
  4 Therefore amy spirit° Iis overwhelmed° within° me;
  My heart° is II bappalled° within° me.

David prayeth for favour in judgment.

1 ¶ [[A Psalmº of David.]]º Hearº ª my prayer,º O LORD,º give earº ª to² my supplications:º in thy faithfulnessº answerº ª me, [and] in thy righteousness.º 2 And enterº ª not² into judgmentº with² thy servant:º for² in thy sightº shall no² man² livingº be justified.º ª
