1 ¶ [[To the chief Musician,ºª A Psalmº for the sonsº of Korah.]]º LORD,º thou hast been favourableºª unto thy land:º thou hast brought backºª the captivityºª of Jacob.º 2 Thou hast forgivenºª the iniquityº of thy people,º thou hast coveredºª all² their sin.º Selah.º 3 Thou hast taken awayºª all² thy wrath:º thou hast turnedºª [thyself] from the fiercenessº² of thine anger.º 4 Turnºª us, O Godº of our salvation,º and cause thine angerº toward² us to cease.ºª 5 Wilt thou be angryºª with us for ever?º wilt thou draw outºª thine angerº to all¹ generations?º 6 Wilt thou² not² reviveºª us again:ºª that thy peopleº may rejoiceºª in thee? 7 Shewºª us thy mercy,º O LORD,º and grantºª us thy salvation.º
