The Prince’s Offerings1 ‘Thus° says° the Lord° IGOD°, “The agate° of the binner° court° facing° east° shall be cshut° the six° dworking° days°; but it shall be opened° on the esabbath° day° and opened° on the day° of the fnew° moon°. 2 The aprince° shall enter° by way° of the porch° of the gate° from outside° and stand° by the bpost° of the gate°. Then the priests° shall provide° his burnt° offering° and his peace° offerings°, and he shall worship° at the threshold° of the gate° and then go° out; but the gate° shall not be cshut° until° the evening°. 3 The apeople° of the land° shall also worship° at the doorway° of that gate° before° the LORD° on the sabbaths° and on the bnew° moons°. 4 The aburnt° offering° which° the prince° shall offer° to the LORD° on the sabbath° day° shall be bsix° lambs° without° blemish° and a ram° without° blemish°; 5 and the agrain offering° shall be an ephah° Iwith the ram°, and the grain offering° Iwith the lambs° IIas much° as he is bable° to give°, and a hin° of oil° Iwith an ephah°. 6 On the day° of the anew° moon° [he shall offer] a young° bull° without° blemish°, also six° lambs° and a ram°, [which] shall be without° blemish°. 7 And he shall provide° a agrain offering°, an ephah° Iwith the bull° and an ephah° Iwith the ram°, and Iwith the lambs° as IImuch° as he is bable°°, and a hin° of oil° Iwith an ephah°. 8 When the aprince° enters°, he shall go° in by way° of the porch° of the gate° and go° out Iby the same way°. 9 But when the people° of the land° come° abefore° the LORD° at the appointed° feasts°, he who enters° by way° of the north° gate° to worship° shall go° out by way° of the south° gate°. Ordinances for the prince in his worship,1 ¶ Thus² saithºª the Lordº GOD;º The gateº of the innerº courtº that lookethºª toward the eastº shall be² shutºª the sixº workingº days;º but on the sabbathºº it shall be opened,ºª and in the dayº of the new moonº it shall be opened.ºª 2 And the princeº shall enterºª by the wayº of the porchº of [that] gateº without,º² and shall standºª by² the postº of the gate,º and the priestsº shall prepareºª² his burnt offeringº and his peace offerings,º and he shall worshipºª at² the thresholdº of the gate:º then he shall go forth;ºª but the gateº shall not² be shutºª until² the evening.º 3 Likewise the peopleº of the landº shall worshipºª at the doorº of this² gateº beforeº the LORDº in the sabbathsº and in the new moons.º 4 And the burnt offeringº that² the princeº shall offerºª unto the LORDº in the sabbathº dayº [shall be] sixº lambsº without blemish,º and a ramº without blemish.º 5 And the meat offeringº [shall be] an ephahº for a ram,º and the meat offeringº for the lambsº as he shall be able¹ to give,º² and an hinº of oilº to an ephah.º 6 And in the dayº of the new moonº [it shall be] a youngºº bullockº without blemish,º and sixº lambs,º and a ram:º they shall be² without blemish.º 7 And he shall prepareºª a meat offering,º an ephahº for a bullock,º and an ephahº for a ram,º and for the lambsº according as² his handº shall attainºª unto, and an hinº of oilº to an ephah.º 8 And when the princeº shall enter,ºª he shall go¹ª in² by the wayº of the porchº of [that] gate,º and he shall go forthºª by the wayº thereof.
