Peaceful Latter Days

  1 And it will come° about in the alast° days°
  That the bmountain° of the house° of the LORD°
  Will be established° Ias the chief° of the mountains°.
  It will be raised° above° the hills°,
  And the cpeoples° will stream° to it.
  2 aMany° nations° will come° and say°,
  “bCome° and let us go° up to the mountain° of the LORD°
  And to the house° of the God° of Jacob°,
  That cHe may teach° us about° His ways°
  And that we may walk° in His paths°.”
  For dfrom Zion° will go° forth° the law°,
  Even the word° of the LORD° from Jerusalem°.
  3 And He will ajudge° between° many° peoples°
  And render° decisions° for mighty°, Idistant° nations°.
  Then they will hammer° their swords° binto plowshares°
  And their spears° into pruning° hooks°;
  Nation° will not lift° up sword° against° nation°,
  And never° again° will they IItrain° for war°.
  4 Each° of them will asit° under° his vine°
  And under° his fig° tree°,
  With bno° one° to make° [them] afraid°,
  For the cmouth° of the LORD° of hosts° has spoken°.
  5 Though° all° the peoples° walk°
  Each° in the aname° of his god°,
  As for us, bwe will walk°

  “I will assemble° the alame°

  Even those whom° I have afflicted°.

  And the bLORD° will reign° over° them in Mount° Zion°
  From now° on and forever°°.

  Is there° no° king° among you,
  Or° has your bcounselor° perished°,
  That agony° has gripped° you like a woman in childbirth°?
  10 “aWrithe° and labor° to give° birth°,
  Daughter° of Zion°,
  Like a woman in childbirth°;
  For now° you will bgo° out of the city°,
  Dwell° in the field°,
  And go° to Babylon°.

  Who say°, ‘Let her be polluted°,

  For He has gathered° them like sheaves° to the threshing° floor°.

  For your horn° I will make° iron°
  And your hoofs° I will make° bronze°,
  That you may bpulverize° many° peoples°,
  That you may cdevote° to the LORD° their unjust° gain°

3 ¶ And he shall judgeº ª among² manyº people,º and rebukeº ª strongº nationsº afar off;º ² and they shall beatº ª their swordsº into plowshares,º and their spearsº into pruninghooks:º nationº shall not² lift upº ª a swordº against² nation,º neither² shall they learnº ª warº any more.² 4 But they shall sitº ª every manº under² his vineº and under² his fig tree;º and none² shall make [them] afraid:º ª for² the mouthº of the LORDº of hostsº hath spokenº ª [it]. 5 For² all² peopleº will walk¹ ª ² every oneº in the nameº of his god,º and we² will walk¹ ª ² in the nameº of the LORDº our Godº for everº and ever.º 6 In that² day,º saithº ª the LORD,º will I assembleº ª her that halteth,º ª and I will gatherº ª her that is driven out,º ª and her that² I have afflicted;º ª 7 And I will makeº ª ² her that haltedº ª a remnant,º and her that was cast far offº ª a strongº nation:º and the LORDº shall reignº ª over² them in mountº Zionº from henceforth,² ² even for¹ ever.º ²
