NASB — Micah 3 — KJV

Rulers Denounced

1 And I said°,
  “aHear° now°, heads° of Jacob°
  And rulers° of the house° of Israel°.
Is it not for you to bknow° justice°?
  2 “You who hate° good° and love° evil°,
  Who atear° off° their skin° from them
And their flesh° from their bones°,
  3 Who° aeat° the flesh° of my people°,
  Strip° off° their skin° from them,
  Break° their bones°
And bchop° [them] up as for the pot°
  And as meat° in a kettle°.”
  4 Then° they will acry° out to the LORD°,
But He will not answer° them.
Instead, He will bhide° His face° from them at that time°
  Because° they have cpracticed° evil° deeds°.

The cruelty of the princes.

1 ¶ And I said,ºª Hear,ºª I pray you,² O headsº of Jacob,º and ye princesº of the houseº of Israel;º [Is it] not² for you to knowºª² judgment?º 2 Who hateºª the good,º and loveºª the evil;º who pluck offºª their skinº from off²² them, and their fleshº from off²² their bones;º 3 Who² also eatºª the fleshº of my people,º and flayºª their skinº from off²² them; and they breakºª their bones,º and chop them in pieces,ºª as² for the pot,º and as fleshº withinº the caldron.º 4 Then² shall they cryºª unto² the LORD,º but he will not² hearºª them: he will even hideºª his faceº from² them at that² time,º as² they have behaved themselves illºª in their doings.º

The falsehood of the prophets.

5 ¶ Thus² saithºª the LORDº concerning² the prophetsº that make² my peopleº err,ºª that biteºª with their teeth,º and cry,ºª Peace;º and he that² puttethºª not² into² their mouths,º they even prepareºª warº against² him. 6 Therefore² nightº [shall be] unto you, that ye shall not have a vision;º² and it shall be darkºªª unto you, that ye shall not divine;ºª² and the sunº shall go downºª over² the prophets,º and the dayº shall be darkºª over² them. 7 Then shall the seersº be ashamed,ºª and the divinersºª confounded:ºª yea, they shall all² coverºª² their lips;º for² [there is] no² answerº of God.º

The security of them both.

8 ¶ But trulyº I² am fullºª of powerº by² the spiritº of the LORD,º and of judgment,º and of might,º to declareºª unto Jacobº his transgression,º and to Israelº his sin.º 9 Hearºª this,² I pray you,² ye headsº of the houseº of Jacob,º and princesº of the houseº of Israel,º that abhorºª judgment,º and pervertºª all² equity.º 10 They build upºª Zionº with blood,º and Jerusalemº with iniquity.º 11 The headsº thereof judgeºª for reward,º and the priestsº thereof teachºª for hire,º and the prophetsº thereof divineºª for money:º yet will they leanºª upon² the LORD,º and say,ºª [Is] not² the LORDº amongº us? none² evilº can comeºª upon² us. 12 Therefore² shall Zionº for your sakeº be plowedºª [as] a field,º and Jerusalemº shall become² heaps,º and the mountainº of the houseº as the high placesº of the forest.º
