[A Psalm] of David.

  1 I aVindicate° me, O LORD°, for I have bwalked° in my integrity°,
  And I have ctrusted° in the LORD° II dwithout° wavering°.
  2 aExamine° me, O LORD°, and try° me;
  bTest° my Imind° and my heart°.
  3 For Your alovingkindness° is before° my eyes°,
  And I have bwalked° in Your Itruth°.
  4 I do not asit° with Ideceitful° men°,
  Nor° will I go° with II bpretenders°.
  5 I ahate° the assembly° of evildoers°,
  And I will not sit° with the wicked°.
  6 I shall awash° my hands° in innocence°,
  And I will go° about° bYour altar°, O LORD°,
  7 That I may proclaim° with the voice° of athanksgiving°
  And declare° all° Your Iwonders°.

David resorteth unto God in confidence of his integrity.

1 ¶ [[[A Psalm] of David.]]º Judgeº ª me, O LORD;º for² I² have walkedº ª in mine integrity:º I have trustedº ª also in the LORD;º [therefore] I shall not² slide.º ª 2 Examineº ª me, O LORD,º and proveº ª me; tryº ª my reinsº and my heart.º 3 For² thy lovingkindnessº [is] before² mine eyes:º and I have walkedº ª in thy truth.º 4 I have not² satº ª with² vainº persons,º neither² will I go inº ª with² dissemblers.º ª 5 I have hatedº ª the congregationº of evil doers;º ª and will not² sitº ª with² the wicked.º 6 I will washº ª mine handsº in innocency:º so will I compassº ª thine² altar,º O LORD:º 7 That I may publishº ª with the voiceº of thanksgiving,º and tellº ª of all² thy wondrous works.º ª 8 LORD,º I have lovedº ª the habitationº of thy house,º and the placeº where thine honourº dwelleth.º 9 Gatherº ª not² my soulº with² sinners,º nor my lifeº with² bloodyº men:¹ ² 10 In whose² handsº [is] mischief,º and their right handº is fullº ª of bribes.º 11 But as for me,² I will walk¹ ª ² in mine integrity:º redeemº ª me, and be mercifulº ª unto me. 12 My footº standethº ª in an even place:º in the congregationsº will I blessº ª the LORD.º
