The ten curtains of the Tabernacle.

1 ¶ Moreover thou shalt makeºª the tabernacleº [with] tenº curtainsº [of] fine twined¹ª linen,º² and blue,º and purple,º and scarlet:ºº [with] cherubimsº of cunningºª workº shalt thou makeºª them. 2 The lengthº of oneº curtainº [shall be] eightº and twentyº cubits,º and the breadthº of oneº curtainº fourº cubits:º and every one² of the curtainsº shall have oneº measure.º 3 The fiveº curtainsº shall be² coupled togetherºª oneº to² another;º and [other] fiveº curtainsº [shall be] coupledºª oneº to² another.º 4 And thou shalt makeºª loopsº of blueº upon² the edgeº of the oneº curtainº from the selvedgeº² in the coupling;º and likewise² shalt thou makeºª in the uttermostº edgeº of [another] curtain,º in the couplingº of the second.º 5 Fiftyº loopsº shalt thou makeºª in the oneº curtain,º and fiftyº loopsº shalt thou makeºª in the edgeº of the curtainº that² [is] in the couplingº of the second;º that the loopsº may take holdºª oneº of² another.º 6 And thou shalt makeºª fiftyº tachesº of gold,º and coupleºª² the curtainsº together²²² with¹¹ the taches:º and it shall be² oneº tabernacle.º

The eleven curtains of goats' hair.

7 ¶ And thou shalt makeºª curtainsº [of] goats'º [hair] to be a coveringº upon² the tabernacle:º elevenºº curtainsº shalt thou make.ºª 8 The lengthº of oneº curtainº [shall be] thirtyº cubits,º and the breadthº of oneº curtainº fourº cubits:º and the elevenºº curtainsº [shall be all] of oneº measure.º 9 And thou shalt coupleºª² fiveº curtainsº by themselves,² and sixº curtainsº by themselves,² and shalt doubleºª the sixthº² curtainº in the forefrontºº² of the tabernacle.º 10 And thou shalt makeºª fiftyº loopsº on² the edgeº of the oneº curtainº [that is] outmostº in the coupling,º and fiftyº loopsº in² the edgeº of the curtainº which couplethº the second.º 11 And thou shalt makeºª fiftyº tachesº of brass,º and putºª² the tachesº into the loops,º and couple¹ª the tent¹ together,²²² that it may be² one.º 12 And the remnantº that remainethºª of the curtainsº of the tent,º the halfº curtainº that remaineth,ºª shall hangºª over² the backsideº of the tabernacle.º 13 And a cubitº on the one side,º² and a cubitº on the other side²² of that which remainethºª in the lengthº of the curtainsº of the tent,º it shall² hangºª over² the sidesº of the tabernacleº on this side²² and on that side,²² to coverºª it.

The covering of rams' skins.

14 And thou shalt makeºª a coveringº for the tentº [of] rams'º skinsº dyed red,ºª and a coveringº aboveº² [of] badgers'º skins.º

The boards of the Tabernacle, with the sockets and bars.

15 ¶ And thou shalt makeºª² boardsº for the tabernacleº [of] shittimº woodº standing up.ºª 16 Tenº cubitsº [shall be] the lengthº of a board,º and a cubitº and a halfº [shall be] the breadthº of oneº board.º 17 Twoº tenonsº [shall there be] in oneº board,º set in orderºª oneº against² another:º thus² shalt thou makeºª for all² the boardsº of the tabernacle.º 18 And thou shalt makeºª² the boardsº for the tabernacle,º twentyº boardsº on the southº sideº southward.º 19 And thou shalt makeºª fortyº socketsº of silverº under² the twentyº boards;º twoº socketsº under² oneº boardº for his twoº tenons,º and twoº socketsº under² anotherº boardº for his twoº tenons.º 20 And for the secondº sideº of the tabernacleº on the northº sideº [there shall be] twentyº boards:º 21 And their fortyº socketsº [of] silver;º twoº socketsº under² oneº board,º and twoº socketsº under² anotherº board.º 22 And for the sidesº of the tabernacleº westwardº thou shalt makeºª sixº boards.º 23 And twoº boardsº shalt thou makeºª for the cornersº of the tabernacleº in the two sides.º 24 And they shall be² coupled¹ together² beneath,º² and they shall be² coupled¹ª together¹² above²² the headº of it unto² oneº ring:º thus² shall it be² for them both;º they shall be² for the twoº corners.º 25 And they shall be² eightº boards,º and their socketsº [of] silver,º sixteenºº sockets;º twoº socketsº under² oneº board,º and twoº socketsº under² anotherº board.º

26 ¶ And thou shalt makeºª barsº [of] shittimº wood;º fiveº for the boardsº of the oneº sideº of the tabernacle,º 27 And fiveº barsº for the boardsº of the otherº sideº of the tabernacle,º and fiveº barsº for the boardsº of the sideº of the tabernacle,º for the two sidesº westward.º 28 And the middleº barº in the midstº of the boardsº shall reachºª from² endº to² end.º 29 And thou shalt overlayºª the boardsº with gold,º and makeºª their ringsº [of] goldº [for] placesº for the bars:º and thou shalt overlayºª² the barsº with gold.º 30 And thou shalt rear upºª² the tabernacleº according to the fashionº thereof which² was shewedºª thee in the mount.º

The vail for the Ark.

31 ¶ And thou shalt makeºª a vailº [of] blue,º and purple,º and scarlet,ºº and fine twined¹ª linenº² of cunningºª work:º with cherubimsº shall it be made:ºª 32 And thou shalt hangºª it upon² fourº pillarsº of shittimº [wood] overlaidºª with gold:º their hooksº [shall be of] gold,º upon² the fourº socketsº of silver.º

33 ¶ And thou shalt hang upºª² the vailº under² the taches,º that thou mayest bring¹ª in² thither² withinº² the vailº² the arkº of the testimony:º and the vailº shall divideºª unto you between² the holyº [place] and the most¹ holy.º 34 And thou shalt putºª² the mercy seatº upon² the arkº of the testimonyº in the most¹ holyº [place]. 35 And thou shalt setºª² the tableº withoutº² the vail,º and the candlestickº over againstº the tableº on² the sideº of the tabernacleº toward the south:º and thou shalt putºª the tableº on² the northº side.º

The hanging for the door.

36 And thou shalt makeºª an hangingº for the doorº of the tent,º [of] blue,º and purple,º and scarlet,ºº and fine twined¹ª linen,º² wrought¹ with needlework.ºª² 37 And thou shalt makeºª for the hangingº fiveº pillarsº [of] shittimº [wood], and overlayºª them with gold,º [and] their hooksº [shall be of] gold:º and thou shalt castºª fiveº socketsº of brassº for them.
