Zechariah 2:8-
9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts;
After the glory hath he
sent me unto
the nations which spoiled you:
for he that toucheth you toucheth
the apple of his eye. ... For, behold,
I will shake mine hand upon them,
and they shall be a spoil to their servants:
and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
Zechariah 10:4-
5 Out
of him came forth the corner, out of him
the nail, out of him
the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. ... And they shall be
as mighty [
men], which
tread down [
their enemies] in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight,
because the LORD [
is] with them,
and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
Zechariah 12:2-
6 Behold, I will make Jerusalem
a cup of
trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [
and] against Jerusalem. ... In that day will I make the governors of Judah
like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and
they shall devour all the people round about,
on the right hand and on the left: and
Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, [
even] in Jerusalem.
Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [
that]
I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Isaiah 63:1-
6 Who
[is] this that cometh
from Edom, with
dyed garments from
Bozrah? this [
that is]
glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that
speak in righteousness,
mighty to save. ... And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and
make them drunk in my fury, and
I will bring down their strength to the earth.
Isaiah 66:15-
16 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and
with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. ... For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Daniel 2:34-
35 Thou sawest till that
a stone was cut out
without hands,
which smote the image upon his feet [
that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. ... Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and
became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that
no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain,
and filled the whole earth.
Daniel 2:44-
45 And
in the days of these kings shall
the God of heaven
set up a
kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [
but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. ... Forasmuch as
thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain
without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold;
the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass
hereafter: and the dream [
is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Joel 3:2 I will
also gather all nations, and will bring them down into
the valley of Jehoshaphat, and
will plead with them there for my people and [
for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations,
and parted my land.
Joel 3:9-
17 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles;
Prepare war,
wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: ... So
shall ye know that I [
am] the LORD your God dwelling in Zion,
my holy mountain: then shall
Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
Zephaniah 3:19 Behold, at that time
I will undo all that afflict thee:
and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out;
and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
Haggai 2:21-
22 Speak to
Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying,
I will shake the heavens and the earth; ... And I will
overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen;
and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down,

[power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another:
and there was given unto him a great sword. ... For
the great day of his wrath is come; and
who shall be able to stand?
Revelation 8:7-
13 The first angel sounded, and there followed
hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were
cast upon the earth: and
the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. ... And I beheld, and heard an angel
flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice,
Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
