In Judah [
is] God known:
his name [
is] great in Israel. ... The stouthearted are spoiled,
they have slept their sleep:
and none of the men of might have found their hands.
Psalms 125:1 [[A Song of degrees.]] They
that trust in the LORD [
shall be] as mount Zion, [
which] cannot be removed,
[but] abideth for ever.
2 Chronicles 12:7 And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves;
[therefore] I will not destroy them, but I will grant them
some deliverance;
and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

2 Chronicles 20:1-
37 It came to pass
after this also, [

the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them [
other] beside the Ammonites,
came against Jehoshaphat to battle. ... Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying,
Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works.
And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go
to Tarshish.
Isaiah 4:5-
6 And the LORD will create
upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies,
a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for
upon all the glory [
shall be]
a defence. ... And there shall be a
tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and
for a covert from storm and from rain.
Isaiah 37:33-
36 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria,
He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with
shields, nor cast a bank against it. ... Then
the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand:
and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they [
were] all dead corpses.
Zechariah 2:4-
5 And said unto him, Run, speak to this
young man, saying,
Jerusalem shall be inhabited [
as] towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: ... For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her
a wall of fire round about, and will be
the glory in the midst of her.
