Isaiah 10:13-
14 For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [
it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and
I have removed the bounds of the people, and have
robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like
a valiant [man]: ...
And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs [
that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or
peeped.
Isaiah 10:32-
34 As yet shall he remain at
Nob that day: he shall
shake his hand [
against]
the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. ... And he shall
cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and
Lebanon shall fall
by a mighty one.
Isaiah 17:12-
14 Woe to the
multitude of many people, [

make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, [
that] make a rushing like the rushing of
mighty waters! ... And behold at eveningtide trouble; [
and] before the morning he [
is] not. This [
is]
the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
Isaiah 37:11-

36 Because thy
rage against me, and thy
tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore
will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest. ... Then
the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand:
and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they [
were] all dead corpses.
