_ _ brought thy people ... out of ... Egypt — a proof to all ages that the seed of Abraham is Thy covenant-people. That ancient benefit gives us hope that Thou wilt confer a like one on us now under similar circumstances (Psalms 80:8-14; Jeremiah 32:21; Jeremiah 23:7, Jeremiah 23:8).
