Isaiah 19:13-
14 The
princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of
Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, [
even they that are] the
stay of the tribes thereof. ... The LORD
hath mingled a
perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken [
man] staggereth in his vomit.
Isaiah 23:9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it,
to stain the pride of all glory, [
and] to
bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.
Isaiah 24:21-
22 And it shall come to pass in that day, [
that] the LORD shall
punish the host of the high ones [
that are] on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. ... And
they shall be gathered together,
[as] prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be
visited.
Job 12:21 He
poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
Job 34:19-
20 [
How much less to him] that
accepteth not the persons of
princes, nor
regardeth the rich more than the poor? for
they all [
are] the work of his hands. ... In
a moment shall they die, and the people shall be
troubled at midnight, and pass away: and
the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

Jeremiah 25:18-
27 [
To wit],
Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof,
to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse;
as [it is] this day; ... Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more,
because of the sword which I will send among you.
Luke 1:51-
52 He hath
shewed strength with his arm;
he hath scattered the proud in
the imagination of their hearts. ... He hath
put down the mighty from [
their] seats, and exalted them of low degree.
Revelation 19:18-
20 That
ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh
of all [
men, both] free and bond, both small and great. ... And
the beast was taken, and with him
the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone.
