Genesis 31:38-
42 This
twenty years [
have] I [
been] with thee; thy
ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and
the rams of thy flock have I not eaten. ...
Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the
fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God
hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked [
thee] yesternight.
Genesis 30:29 And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.
Ephesians 6:5-
8 Servants,
be obedient to them that are [
your] masters
according to the flesh,
with fear and trembling,
in singleness of your heart,
as unto Christ; ... Knowing that
whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord,
whether [
he be] bond or free.
Colossians 3:22-
25 Servants,
obey in all things [
your] masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as
menpleasers; but
in singleness of heart,
fearing God: ... But
he that doeth wrong shall
receive for the wrong which he hath done:
and there is no respect of persons.
Titus 2:9-
10 [
Exhort]
servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [
and]
to please [
them] well in all [
things]; not
answering again; ... Not
purloining, but
shewing all good fidelity; that they may
adorn the doctrine of
God our Saviour in all things.
1 Peter 2:18 Servants,
[be] subject to [
your] masters with all fear; not only to
the good and gentle,
but also to the froward.
