Deuteronomy 12:12

_ _ ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, etc. — Hence it appears that, although males only were commanded to appear before God at the annual solemn feasts (Exodus 23:17), the women were allowed to accompany them (1 Samuel 1:3-23).
