great diseases,)
his own servants conspired against him
for the blood of
the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him
not in the sepulchres of the kings. ... And these are they that conspired against him;
Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of
Shimrith a Moabitess.
2 Chronicles 25:27-
28 Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from
following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to
Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there. ... And they brought him upon horses, and buried him with his fathers in
