Ezekiel 22:26 Her
priests have
violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have
put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed [
difference] between the unclean and the clean, and have
hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and
I am profaned among them.
Ezekiel 20:13 But the house of Israel
rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes,
and they despised my judgments,
which [
if] a man do, he shall even live in them;
and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then
I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
Ezekiel 20:21 Notwithstanding
the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which
[if] a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said,
I would pour out my fury upon them, to
accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
Ezekiel 20:24 Because
they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and
their eyes were after their fathers' idols.
Ezekiel 23:38-
39 Moreover this
they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day,
and have profaned my sabbaths. ... For when they had slain their children to their idols, then
they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo,
thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
Leviticus 19:30 Ye shall
keep my sabbaths, and
reverence my sanctuary: I [
am] the LORD.
Amos 8:4-
6 Hear this, O ye that
swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, ... That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; [
yea], and sell the refuse of the wheat?
Malachi 1:6-
8 A
son honoureth [
his] father, and
a servant his master:
if then I [
be] a father, where [
is] mine honour?
and if I [
be] a master, where [
is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you,
O priests, that despise my name.
And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? ... And
if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [
is it] not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [
is it] not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
Malachi 1:12 But
ye have profaned it, in that ye say,
The table of the LORD [
is] polluted; and the fruit thereof, [
even] his meat, [
is] contemptible.
