2 Timothy 4:7

_ _ “I have striven the good strife”; the Greek is not restricted to a fight, but includes any competitive contest, for example, that of the racecourse (1 Timothy 6:12 [Alford]; 1 Corinthians 9:24, etc.; Hebrews 12:1, Hebrews 12:2).

_ _ kept the faith — the Christian faith committed to me as a believer and an apostle (compare 2 Timothy 1:14; Revelation 2:10; Revelation 3:10).
