Luke 13:31-
34 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him,
Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. ... O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which
killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee;
how often would I have gathered
thy children together,
as a hen [
doth gather] her brood under [
her] wings,
and ye would not!
2 Kings 21:16 Moreover
Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from
one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing [
that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD.

1 Thessalonians 2:15-
