Isaiah 2:6-
8 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished
from the east,
and [are] soothsayers like the Philistines,
and they please themselves in the children of strangers. ... Their land also
is full of idols; they
worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
Isaiah 2:18 And
the idols he shall utterly abolish.
Isaiah 2:20 In that day a man shall
cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made
[each one] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
Isaiah 8:19-
20 And when they shall say unto you,
Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards
that peep, and that mutter:
should not a people seek unto their God?
for the living to the dead? ... To
the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word,
[it is] because [
there is] no
light in them.
Isaiah 27:9 By
this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this [
is] all the fruit to take away his sin;
when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder,
the groves and
images shall not stand up.
Zechariah 13:2-
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, [
that]
I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will
cause the prophets and the
unclean spirit to pass out of the land. ... And it shall come to pass in that day, [
that]
the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they
wear a
rough garment to deceive:
Revelation 19:20 And
the beast was taken, and with him
the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone.
Revelation 22:15 For
without [
are]
dogs, and
sorcerers, and
whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and
whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
