Ezekiel 33:21-
22 And it came to pass
in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth [
month], in the fifth [
day] of the month, [
that]
one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying,
The city is smitten. ... Now
the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning;
and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
1 Samuel 4:12-
18 And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day
with his clothes rent, and
with earth upon his head. ... And it came to pass,
when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and
his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy.
And he had judged Israel forty years.
Job 1:15-
19 And the
Sabeans fell [
upon them], and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword;
and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. ... And, behold, there came
a great wind
from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and
they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
