Joshua 21:45
All came to pass Such an acknowledgment as this, here subscribed by Joshua, in the name of all Israel, we afterward find made by Solomon; and all Israel did in effect say amen to it, 1 Kings 8:56. The inviolable truth of God's promise, and the performance of it to the uttermost, is what all believers in Christ have been always ready to bear their testimony to. And if in any thing it has seemed to come short, they have been as ready to take all the blame to themselves. |
Joshua 23:14- 15 And, behold, this day I [am] going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, [ and] not one thing hath failed thereof. ... Therefore it shall come to pass, [ that] as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. Numbers 23:19 God [ is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [ it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 1 Kings 8:56 Blessed [be] the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. 1 Corinthians 1:9 God [ is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful [ is] he that calleth you, who also will do [ it]. Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which [ it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
