Acts 13:48-
50 And when the Gentiles heard this,
they were glad, and
glorified the word of the Lord:
and as many as were
ordained to eternal life believed. ... But
the Jews stirred up the
devout and
honourable women, and the chief men of the city,
and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas,
and expelled them out of their coasts.

apostles.
Acts 17:4-
5 And
some of them believed, and
consorted with Paul and
Silas; and of
the devout Greeks a great multitude,
and of the chief women not a few. ... But the Jews which believed not,
moved with envy,
took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company,
and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of
Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
Acts 18:6-
8 And when
they opposed themselves, and blasphemed,
he shook [
his] raiment, and said unto them,
Your blood [
be] upon your own heads; I [

from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. ... And

hearing believed, and were baptized.
Acts 19:8-
9 And he
went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months,
disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. ... But when divers were hardened, and believed not,
but spake evil of that way before the multitude,
he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing
daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
Romans 3:3 For what
if some did not believe?
shall their unbelief make the

Romans 11:4-
6 But what saith the answer of God unto him?
I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to [
the image of]
Baal. ...
And if by grace, then [

it be] of works, then is it no more grace:
otherwise work is no more work.
