Sibbekhay the Chushathi, Ilay the Achochi, |
1 Chronicles 11:29
(h) Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
(h) He is also called Mebunnai, (2 Samuel 23:27). |
- Sibbecai:
- The reading of מבני [Strong's H4012], Mebunnai, for סבכי [Strong's H5444], Sibbecai, seems to be occasioned by the mistake of ס, samech, for a מ, mem, and a נ, noon, for a כ, caph; and a difference in the vowel points.
1 Chronicles 27:11 The eighth [captain] for the eighth month [was] Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course [were] twenty and four thousand. 2 Samuel 23:27-28 Abiezer the Anethothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite, ... Zalmon the Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite, , Mebunnai, Zalmon
|
- Ahohite:
1 Chronicles 11:12 And after him [was] Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who [was one] of the three mighties.
