Psalms 85:10

_ _ God’s promises of “mercy” will be verified by His “truth” (compare Psalms 25:10; Psalms 40:10); and the “work of righteousness” in His holy government shall be “peace” (Isaiah 32:17). There is an implied contrast with a dispensation under which God’s truth sustains His threatened wrath, and His righteousness inflicts misery on the wicked.

Matthew Henry's Commentary

I Love The Lord. Me I am a Christian and my friend who is a muslim had a kind of falling out not long ago. It was a discussion about Jesus being God. I believe that God is calling me to action to tell people about His work here on earth, and to tell them He is return soon. Well, we recently made up at work, still with our own beliefs. A day later, my friend who is a muslim, put Psalm 85:10 onto facebook in the morning, and I was looking at this verse with a sudden interest of wanting to know more about the verse. Me, not realising it was from Psalm 85:10 thought he was still winding me up some more. Ha. But evening came, and I went to Bible study, and we all take it in turns to read the Bible before we discuss it all. And, to my amazment, It was my turn to read from Psalm 85:10, and then all of a sudden, "click" it dawned on me that I read this some where today? My friend who is a muslim put this verse onto facebook, after having our two and a half hour dissagreement the night before, and I believe God spoke to me through My friend! It just goes to show that, Jesus is God and that God is always Truthful. We must listen to God our heavenly father. God speaks, and to land on this verse when its my turn to read, WOW! Me and my friend are keeping the peace between us! God Bless
