Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Commentary

Matthew 25:18

_ _ But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money — not misspending, but simply making no use of it. Nay, his action seems that of one anxious that the gift should not be misused or lost, but ready to be returned, just as he got it.

Matthew Henry's Commentary

See commentary on Matthew 25:14-30.

John Wesley's Explanatory Notes

Matthew 25:18
