And ye also
shall bear witness, because ye have
been with me from the beginning.
But ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye
shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria
, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:22 Beginning
from the baptism of John, unto
that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness
with us of his resurrection.
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof
we all are witnesses.
And killed the Prince
of life, whom
God hath raised from the dead; whereof
we are witnesses.
great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace
was upon them all.
And we are
his witnesses of these things; and [so
is] also the Holy Ghost, whom
God hath given to them that obey him.
And we are
witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom
they slew and hanged on a tree:
Acts 10:41 Not
to all the people, but unto witnesses
chosen before of God, [even]
to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
And he was
seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who
are his witnesses unto the people.
For thou shalt
be his witness unto all men of
what thou hast seen and heard.
shall we escape, if we neglect so
great salvation; which at the first began
to be spoken by the Lord, and was
confirmed unto us by them that heard [him
]; ... God
also bearing [them
] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts
of the Holy Ghost, according
to his own will?
1 John 1:2
(For the life was manifested
, and we have seen [it
], and bear
witness, and shew
unto you that eternal
life, which was
with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) ... That which
we have seen and heard declare
we unto you, that ye also
may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship
] with the Father, and with his
Son Jesus Christ.
