And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
And the LORD shall scatter
thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt
serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, [even
] wood and stone. ... And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
Thou hast given
us like sheep [appointed] for meat
; and hast scattered
us among the heathen.
I will scatter
them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I
will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
Judah is gone
into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude
