John 5:34 But
I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say,
that ye might be saved.
John 6:15 When Jesus therefore
perceived that they would come and
take him by force, to make him a king,

John 7:18 He
that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that
seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
John 8:50 And

John 8:54 Jesus answered,

1 Thessalonians 2:6 Nor
of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor [
yet] of others,
when we might have
been burdensome,
as the apostles of Christ.
1 Peter 2:21 For
even hereunto were ye called:
because Christ also suffered
for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
2 Peter 1:17 For he received from
God the Father honour and glory, when
there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory,
This is my beloved Son,
in whom I am well pleased.
