Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Commentary

Isaiah 41:24

_ _ of nothing — (See on Isaiah 40:17). The Hebrew text is here corrupt; so English Version treats it.

_ _ abomination — abstract for concrete: not merely abominable, but the essence of whatever is so (Deuteronomy 18:12).

_ _ chooseth you — as an object of worship.

Matthew Henry's Commentary

See commentary on Isaiah 41:21-29.

John Wesley's Explanatory Notes
