Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Commentary

Genesis 2:15

_ _ put the man into the garden of Eden to dress it — not only to give him a pleasant employment, but to place him on his probation, and as the title of this garden, the garden of the Lord (Genesis 13:10; Ezekiel 28:13), indicates, it was in fact a temple in which he worshipped God, and was daily employed in offering the sacrifices of thanksgiving and praise.

reading the post is good news for the hearer... but I want to know how many of you have forsaken your sins and the Father has glorified you? (Rom.8:28,29.9:7-13.) and if He has not then when are you going to make your calling and election sure?(II Pet.1:10) there are 4 stages to making His Selection of u sure... 2 are "calling and election". who knows the other 2?
