And the LORD appeared
unto Abram, and said, Unto thy
seed will I give this land: and there builded
he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
In the same day the LORD made
a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy
seed have I given this land, from
the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates
-8 And I
will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God
unto thee, and to
thy seed after thee. ... And I
will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger
, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting
possession; and I will be their
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become
a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
The LORD God of heaven, which took
me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake
unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel
before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.
in this land, and I will be
with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee
, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath
which I sware unto Abraham thy father; ... And I will make thy seed to multiply
as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall
all the nations of the earth be blessed;
And give thee the blessing
of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger
God gave unto Abraham.
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I [am]
the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land
whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
And the land
which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to
thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give
this land to thy seed after thee [for
] an everlasting
And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart
] go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast
brought up out of the land
of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto
thy seed will I give it:
Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this [is] the land
that shall fall unto you for an inheritance
] the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea
: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about. ... These [are they
] whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
-4 That thou shalt
take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put [it
] in a basket, and shalt go unto
the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there. ... And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the
altar of the LORD thy God.
And the LORD said unto him, This [is] the land
which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused
thee to see [it
] with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
2 Chronicles 20:7
] not thou our God
didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest
it to the seed of Abraham thy friend
] the LORD the God, who didst choose
Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur
of the Chaldees, and gavest
him the name of Abraham; ... And foundest
his heart faithful before thee, and madest
a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites

of him shall be cut off
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
] he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; ... When they were [but
] a few
men in number; yea, very few, and strangers
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed
] the man [that
] feareth the LORD, [that
greatly in his commandments. ... His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
of thy holiness have possessed [it
] but a little while: our
adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
] the meek
: for they
shall inherit the earth.
And he gave
him none inheritance in it, no, not
[so much as
] to set his foot on: yet
he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when
] he had no child.
