Man was given dominion over the rest of the creation.In psalm 8,we find poetic recapitulation of the account of creation of man in Genesis.In Hebrews 2,the writer of the epistle used the quotation of psalm 8 based on Genesis 1,to show that Jesus Christ is better than angels.Because of sin man has lost the privilege of having dominion.Jesus Christ has regained that through His death.1 Cor.15:25-27;Eph.1:22.
