And I will leave
] into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields
; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon
the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone
down from his shadow, and have left him. ... Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:
Thou shalt fall
upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is
] with thee: I will
give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort
, and [to
] the beasts of the field to be devoured. ... Thou shalt fall upon the open field
: for I have spoken [it
], saith the Lord GOD.
And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak
unto every feathered fowl
, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice
that I do sacrifice for you, [even
] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. ... Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
1 Samuel 17:44
And the Philistine said to David, Come to me
, and I will give
thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. ... This day will the LORD deliver thee
into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine
head from thee; and I will give the carcases
of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth
may know that there is a God in Israel.
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion
Thou brakest the heads of leviathan
in pieces, [and
] gavest him [to be
to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
The dead bodies of thy servants have they given [to be
] meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth. ... Their
blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and [there was
] none to bury [them
Do unto them as [unto]
the Midianites; as [to] Sisera
, as [to
] Jabin, at the brook of Kison
: ... [Which
] perished at Endor
: they became [as] dung
for the earth.
The Lord at thy
right hand shall strike
through kings in the day
of his wrath. ... He shall judge
among the heathen, he shall fill

the heads over many
art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, [and as
] the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go
down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
For the indignation
of the LORD [is
] upon all nations, and [his]
fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. ... And the unicorns
shall come down with them, and the bullocks
with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked
with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
And they shall go forth, and look
upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm
shall not die, neither shall their fire
be quenched; and they
shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all
the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be
for dung upon the face of the earth.
And the slain
of the LORD shall be at that day from [one
] end of the earth even unto the [other
] end of the earth: they shall not
be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be
dung upon the ground.
Joel 3:19 Egypt
shall be a desolation, and Edom
shall be a desolate wilderness, for
the violence [against
] the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
And I saw an angel
standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying
to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; ... That ye
may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all
] free and bond, both small and great.
