Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift
witness against the sorcerers

not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou
shalt not commit adultery: ... But I say
unto you, That
whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath
committed adultery with her already in his heart.
And he saith unto them, Whosoever
shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. ... And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
For the woman
which hath an husband is bound by the law to [her
] husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of [her
] husband. ... So then
if, while [her
] husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

among you, as
becometh saints; ... For this
ye know, that no
whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is
an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
