But the seventh day [is
] the sabbath
of the LORD thy God: [in it
] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger

that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that
] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through
a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

Isaiah 51:1 Hearken
to me, ye that follow
after righteousness, ye that seek
the LORD: look
unto the rock [whence
] ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit [whence
] ye are digged.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: ... But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou
wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: ... Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even

we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness
of sins, according to
the riches of his grace;
That at that time ye were without
Christ, being aliens
from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants
of promise, having
no hope, and without God in the world:
And be ye kind
one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Be ye therefore followers
of God, as
dear children; ... And walk
in love, as
Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice
to God for a
himself for us, that
he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto
himself a peculiar
of good works.
1 John 3:16
we the love [of God
], because he laid down his life for us: and we
ought to lay down [our
] lives for the brethren.
1 John 4:9
In this was
manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent
begotten Son into the world, that we
might live through him. ... Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
