it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight
And the word
of God increased; and the number
of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests
to the faith.
And the hand
of the Lord was with them: and a
great number believed, and turned
unto the Lord.
So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
When the wicked
rise, men hide
themselves: but when they perish
, the righteous increase.
thou not; for I [am
] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God
: I will strengthen
thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold
thee with the right
hand of my righteousness. ... For I the LORD thy God will hold
thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear
not; I will help thee.
shalt thou be established: thou shalt be
far from oppression; for thou
shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. ... No weapon
that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every
] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is
] the heritage
of the servants of the LORD, and their
] of me, saith the LORD.
For as the rain
cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give
seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch
, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise [men
] of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy
not the wise [men
] of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.
And in the days
of these kings shall the God
of heaven set up
, which shall never
be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but
] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
And I say also unto thee, That thou
art Peter, and upon
this rock I will
church; and the
gates of hell shall not
prevail against it.
Which is come
unto you, as [it is
] in all the world; and bringeth
forth fruit, as [it doth
] also in you, since
the day ye heard [of it
], and knew
the grace of God in truth
